About the Role

 


Digital Service Desk (DSD) is key application in the Institutional business used for workflow and case management that is being developed on the Salesforce platform. There is a significant book of work to integrate DSD with other applications in the Institutional space so as to view more details and initiate transactions from DSD. 


As an Analyst in our DSD Tech team,  you’ll play a key role in helping to analyse business requirements, think through options and recommend optimal solutions to cater to requirements. This role manages the tribe backlog, working closely with key stakeholders to prioritise work, manage interdependencies, distil features to epics and further down to detailed user stories.

What will your day look like?

 


As an Analyst in DSD, you will:

•    Assess existing system design, dependencies, challenges and recommend enhancements or new solutions to cater business requirement
•    Analyse technical data from different applications to the target applications to identify trends, dependencies and opportunities for improvement
•    Streamline technical workflows by ensuring that solutions meet regulatory and security standards.
•    Convert business requirements to more granular technical specifications (user stories) that will be consumed by Development and Testing teams, often in conjunction with partners representing other solutions used in the Insto space and being integrated with Digital Service Desk.
•    Provide clarifications on the requirement and proposed solution 
•    Perform functional testing of new features built or issues remediated

 

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:


•    Thorough understanding of the Salesforce platform, especially Service Cloud offering. 

•    Techno-functional skills around banking solutions for Institutional banking that includes but not restricted to: Customer KYC, Limits setup, Limits Utilisation, Lending, Trade Finance, Transactional Accounts, AML solutions and others. 
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills that includes the ability to listen, ask probing questions, derive key requirements/pain points, propose solutions, summarise these, represent these in the form of easy-to-understand diagrams and specifications
•    Ability to work with multiple stakeholders such as architects, co-analysts, developers, testers, release managers, product owners within DSD team as well as similar stakeholders in surround partner solutions
•    Experience in working programs to bring in change that includes ability to articulate progress/status of work, identify issues and dependencies, call out risks, work on course correction strategies
•    Hands-on experience with integration (different patterns like event mesh, API, web hook, SFTP, MQ, CD, Ping Fed and others) and troubleshooting to ensure smooth interaction between different technologies, debugging issues, and supporting implementation
•    Experience in data migration such as: creating a migration plan/strategy, choosing the right tools, frameworks, and platforms for successful migration (e.g., cloud platforms, middleware, data integration tools), pre and post-migration testing, addressing migration related failures
•    Testing skills to perform functional testing and/or guide testers draft a test plan, review test cases, summarise key test results around system testing/system integration testing/performance and volume testing/penetration and security testing, support business users for user acceptance testing

You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills; however through understanding of Salesforce is a must. At ANZ a growth mindset is at the heart of our culture, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we’d love to hear from you.
