About the Role
As an Engineer Chapter Lead (L2 Technical Lead) in our Production Support Team for LSaaS, you will ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of our production environment. Serving as the critical link between L1, L2, and L3 teams, you will provide technical leadership, triage high-priority incidents, and drive improvement initiatives. You will leverage strong expertise in cloud platforms, databases, and monitoring tools to lead a team of L2 engineers, offering mentorship and support.
Your role will focus on problem-solving, incident management, and root cause analysis to ensure rapid issue resolution. Effective communication skills will enable you to coordinate seamlessly across teams, while your leadership will promote a culture of excellence. You will proactively identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, leveraging automation to enhance support efficiency. Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation will be essential to your responsibilities. Ultimately, you will ensure consistent, high-quality support for our production environment

What will your day look like?
As an Engineer Chapter Lead, you are accountable to:
- Lead triage of high-priority incidents, ensuring rapid root cause analysis and resolution
- Provide guidance to L2 engineers, maintain expertise in cloud platforms, databases, and monitoring tools
- Identify automation opportunities, optimize support processes, and implement best practices
- Act as a bridge between L2 and L3 teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination. Conduct in-depth investigations of complex technical issues, including log analysis and debugging
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and a knowledge base for efficient support
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations
- Lead, mentor, and train the L2 team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
What will you bring?
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in application development and production support for critical applications
- Proficiency in Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Docker, Kubernetes/Openshift, SQL, and Linux scripting, with hands-on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Practical knowledge of Codefresh for managing CI/CD pipelines, along with experience in Service Mesh technologies for secure application communication
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Service Mesh technologies for secure service-to-service communication
- Experience in backend development and automation tools, driving process optimization and technical excellence
