About the Role
As a service owner/stream owner in our product squad, you’ll play a key role in helping to manage, enhance, and maintain key services that enables two key collateral management systems - greenfield and legacy - to be in sync
The services are crucial for enabling collateral management to support successful provisioning of secured loans via the bank’s lending processes

What will your day look like?
As a service owner/stream owner, you are accountable for:
- Strategic Ownership: Act as the single point of accountability for the driving strategic direction, and continuous improvement of the service
- Requirement Gathering: Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into feature requirements, and prioritize enhancements
- Solution Design Coordination: Work alongside product teams, technical analysts, and developers to ensure designs meet business objectives, technical feasibility, and best practices
- Delivery Management: Oversee the development and deployment of new features, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes that align with business expectations
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships across business, technology, and operational teams to facilitate seamless collaboration and decision-making
- Operational Support:
Handover of new features to operations support, ensuring documentation of troubleshooting steps, known issues, and resolution methods to streamline future problem-solving are completed
Act as an escalation point for complex incidents that require deep technical expertise or coordination across multiple teams - Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate potential delivery challenges
What will you bring?
- Proven experience in service ownership, product management, or solution delivery within a technology environment
- Strong understanding of end-to-end technology solution lifecycles, including requirements gathering, design, development, test management, deployment, and support
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Technical expertise in solution architecture, integration, and automation
- Ability to comprehend system design, and integrations to make informed decisions and collaborate effectively with development and operations teams
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, project management, and change management principles
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment
Good to have’ knowledge, skills and experiences
- Expertise in incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis within an IT operations context
- Experience in financial or banking sector with understanding of secured lending processes, and collateral management
- Exposure to or experience utilising process led solution design methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
- Technology certifications such as or equivalent to ITIL, CSPO, or PMI
