About the Role

 

As a Site Reliability Engineer in the Tech Pacific Domain, you will play a key role in shaping and building a banking experience that delivers exceptional value to our customers. You will be joining the Customer and Banking Platforms team, where you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our banking solutions.

 

  • Providing stable customer ready platforms through site reliability engineering practises.
  • Support and enable application development to iterate faster through to production.
  • To providing out of hours support to quick respond and resolve incidents to maintain the highest level of service availability to our customers.

What will your day look like?

 

  • Digital customer platform stability and health
  • Supporting and improving continuous delivery pipelines
  • Development using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Java, Groovy
  • Working with tools such as Jenkins, Git, CodeFresh, Opeshift etc
  • Responding and managing incidents through to resolution
  • Managing and actioning changes, collaborating with delivery teams
  • Building our DevOps and SRE capabilities to support customer platforms and improve ANZ agility

What will you bring?

 

  • Must have 6+Years of relevant experience.        
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Strong multi-platform operating system knowledge; such as Linux and Microsoft Windows.
  • An understand of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure as Code practices
  • Development or scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Java, Groovy
  • Familiar with development SDLC tooling such as IDE’s, Git, and CIDC pipelines like Jenkins, CodeFresh
  • Knowledge and experiences working with Kubernetes or Openshift
  • Proven experience and knowledge with observability practices.
  • Good knowledge and working experience with network level troubleshooting
  • Passionate about technology
