About the Role
Role Location: Bangalore
Role Type: Permanent, Fulltime
As an Engineer in the Customer Guidance & Insights Tribe, Data & Insights Team, within the Infrastructure & Cloud Services Domain, you'll play a key role in delivering ServiceNow solutions that simplify how ANZ technology teams request infrastructure and cloud services.
Working closely with the Customer Guidance team, you will take approved business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow Service Catalogue solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying catalogue items, workflows and integrations that automate service delivery and improve the customer experience. Throughout the development lifecycle, you will collaborate with customers, Customer Guidance consultants and platform stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are successfully promoted through development, testing and production environments.

What will your day look like?
As an Engineer, you will:
- Take business requirements from Customer Guidance consultants and translate them into technical ServiceNow solutions.
- Design, develop and enhance Service Catalogue items, record producers, order guides and workflow automation capabilities.
- Work directly with customers and Customer Guidance stakeholders to validate requirements, demonstrate solutions and incorporate feedback.
- Develop, test and deploy ServiceNow solutions across development, test and production environments using established release processes.
- Build integrations with enterprise platforms using REST APIs, SOAP services, IntegrationHub and MID Servers.
- Create and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows and reusable subflows.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, catalogue defects and integration failures, ensuring timely resolution.
- Continuously identify opportunities to simplify processes, increase automation and improve service delivery across Technology.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow development experience including Service Catalog, Record Producers, Order Guides and Flow Designer.
- Advanced JavaScript skills and experience developing Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and UI Policies.
- Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions through the full development lifecycle, including testing, deployment and production support.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations using IntegrationHub and MID Servers.
- Strong understanding of JSON, XML and enterprise integration patterns.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production and integration issues.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams and managing multiple concurrent catalogue development initiatives.
