About the Role

 

Workforce Strategy & Transformation are trusted advisors and delivery partners to T&C and the business, through a strategy led, data informed, and people enabled approach to workforce strategy and transformation.

 

The Senior Project Lead co-ordinates and leads the day-to-day delivery and execution of large, complex, time-bound people or workforce transformation initiatives, with a bounded outcome for the ANZ business. The role acts as the ‘glue’ to get things done, leading project teams to manage project delivery, including managing and escalating risks, managing interdependencies and removing roadblocks either as a stream of work within a wider major transformation initiative or as a standalone program. The Senior Project Lead focuses on leading the initiatives to ensure a successful delivery, whilst finding the best path for delivery that balances overall completion and total investment spend with minimisation of time to value. 

 

As the Campus Lead for our India team, this role is also responsible for strategy development, SME advice and guidance, building capability and continuous improvement of this our Workforce Implementation service offerings including transitions and local team development.

What will your day look like?

 

The successful candidate will play a key role in design and delivery of critical priorities, which may include:
 

  • Leading the delivery and day-to-day management of Workforce Strategy & Transformation initiatives or streams of work that relate to employee workforce change.
  • Identifying and managing interdependencies across the program ensuring that there is minimal disruption or risk to execute the work
  • Developing the strategy and approach to workforce implementation initiatives including transitions (offshoring) for WS&T. This includes SME advice on approach and people related policies, continuing to build local capability with a focus on continuous improvement of the Workforce Implementation (WI) service propositions including transitions.
  • Ensuring clear and timely decisions are made so work can proceed at pace and ensure roadblocks are removed that inhibit the ability to deliver the initiative
  • Performing facets of project management including supporting governance, conducting critical path analysis, identifying dependency, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, and supporting budget, resource and scope management
  • Developing strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to success
  • Engaging and closely partnering with business leaders, T&C BPs, T&C, cross-functional leads and other key stakeholders to successfully deliver the initiative
  • As the Campus Lead for Workforce Implementation Team in India you will be the Leader on the ground for our WI team and may also be required to represent the function at any local GCC Bengaluru Leadership Forums.

 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Depth and breadth of experience in leading the implementation of Workforce Transformation initiatives as it relates to the employee transformation and change
  • Depth and breadth of consulting experience including but not limited to restructuring, organisation design and large-scale change.
  • Proven experience in strategy formulation
  • Proven experience in building global capability (both within and outside of WI team)
  • Direct people leadership with experience managing a global team
  • Experience in complex stakeholder management and leading multiple streams of work and/or projects
  • Extensive experience in large-scale project and program management, including governance, critical path analysis, dependency, issue and risk management, stakeholder management, supporting budget, resource and scope management
