About the Role

 

  • This role is responsible for working closely with business stakeholders (Relationship Credit and Relationship Management teams), other parts of the COO-Institutional Australia function and Product partners to deliver timely and optimised customer outcomes for lending facilities and collateral management.  Delivery of outcomes includes (and not limited to) receipt & validation of Letters of Offer and subsequent facility set up in core systems such as Loan IQ, Orion, Razor etc. [data, processing]. The role may at times also be required to conduct quality reviews of peer output to ensure excellent customer/banker outcomes. 
  • The role is also responsible for proactively managing stakeholder enquiries, identifying operational risks and process improvement opportunities, and supporting business continuity activities to ensure superior customer, banker and risk outcomes.

What will your day look like?

  • Building strong working relationships with business stakeholders to provide superior customer and banker support.  
  • Accurate and timely review of all Returned Letters of Offer – to ensure compliance with execution requirements and policy 
  • Accurate and timely set up of lending facilities in core systems such as Orion and Loan IQ. [data] 
  • Accurate and timely completion of other assigned tasks and accountable to ensure workflow tools inclusive of LoO Return Workbench/OCP/Peer output reflect accurate information at all times.  
  • Contributing to a collaborative team environment within Customer Data and Documentation teams and other COO Institutional Australia business. 
  • Ensuring self-compliance with all Edge accreditation as well as compliance with documented processes, procedures and policies.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to stakeholder enquiries and proactively communicate processing status updates where required. 
  • Conduct appropriate validation and verification checks prior to processing to ensure approval conditions, supporting documentation and execution requirements have been satisfied. 
  • Identify opportunities for process simplification, risk reduction and service improvement and present recommendations to leadership. 
  • Support business continuity requirements and act as a point of contact for operational matters impacting the team or business. 
  • Participate in projects, change initiatives and transformation activities assigned by management. 
  • Maintain workflow tools and operational records accurately to ensure complete transparency of work status and outcomes. 

 

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

  • 3+ yrs of experience in banking systems such as CACHE, Orion, Loan IQ or a willingness to learn and a proven track record of being a fast learner.   
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. 
  • Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines. 
  • Knowledge of lending operations, banking processes and customer documentation requirements. 
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to follow through issues to completion. 
  • Ability to identify operational risks, evaluate impacts and support implementation of controls and mitigants. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise correspondence. 

‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills, and experiences.

  • Sound knowledge and ability to use Microsoft products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.  
  • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement, automation or transformation initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse operational issues and recommend practical solutions. 
  • Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders across front office, risk and operations functions
