About the Role
- As a senior member to the Letter of Offer Return team this role is responsible for working closely with LoO Return Makers, business stakeholders (Relationship Credit and Relationship Management teams), other parts of the GCC Institutional Australia function and Product partners to deliver timely and optimised customer outcomes for lending facilities and collateral management.
- Delivery of outcomes includes (and not limited to) quality reviews of peer output to ensure excellent customer/banker outcomes on the receipt & validation of Letters of Offer and subsequent facility set up in core systems such as Loan IQ, Orion, Razor etc.
- The role may at times also be required to finalise Letter of Offer return activities [data, processing] ensuring appropriate segmentation of duties is maintained.

What will your day look like?
- Support of more complex lending processes and services that our customers need – that are delivered from our Group Capability Centre together with the on hand support and broad SME expertise – to uplift overall process outcomes and assist in the knowledge build of others.
- Building strong working relationships with business stakeholders to provide superior customer and banker support.
- Identify and help resolve roadblocks to improve customer experience and business experience across the relevant IA teams.
- Accurate and timely review of all Returned Letters of Offer – to ensure compliance with execution requirements and policy
- Accurate and timely set up of lending facilities in core systems such as Orion and Loan IQ. [data] – where required.
- Accurate and timely completion of other assigned tasks across our Lending Processing portfolio and accountable to ensure nominated workflow tools inclusive of LoO Return Workbench/OCP/Peer output reflect accurate information at all times.
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment within Lending Processing teams and other Institutional Australia business both onshore and within the GCC.
- Ensuring self-compliance with all Mandatory learning, accreditation and compliance with documented processes, procedures and policies.
- Support to the Lending Processing business and contribute to foundational steps toward our operating model for 2030, aligning with segments and countries rather than functions and processes.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong attention to detail to deliver a high-quality standard with continuous improvement practices applied across COO IA.
- Demonstrated ability /adoption of ANZ values and growth mindset whilst driving the same positive cultures within the team.
- Detailed knowledge of banking systems such as CACHE, Orion, Loan IQ or a willingness to learn and a proven track record of being a fast learner.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through all issues to completion.
- BUPLAS (Business Professional Language and Communication Skills) certification, or equivalent communication accreditation, demonstrating a high standard of written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously whilst effectively managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes.
‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills, and experiences.
- Comprehensive understanding of a range of problem-solving techniques with the ability to help others learn and understand (particularly checking outputs of others).
- Sound knowledge and ability to use Microsoft products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- High quality verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience participating in continuous improvement, automation, change or transformation initiatives within a lending operations environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse operational challenges and recommend practical solutions that improve customer, risk and operational outcomes.
