About the Role
As a Senior Institutional Lending Officer, you will play a critical role in partnering with key business stakeholders, including Relationship Credit and Relationship Management teams, to deliver timely, efficient, and customer-focused lending and collateral management solutions.
The role is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and ongoing management of lending facilities across core banking platforms such as Loan IQ, Orion, and Razor, ensuring accurate processing, data integrity, and operational excellence. Additionally, you will support the delivery of optimized customer outcomes by effectively managing facility administration and collateral-related activities throughout the lending lifecycle.

What will your day look like?
As a Senior Institutional Lending Officer, you will be responsible for :
- Managing lending facilities end-to-end, including the accurate setup, maintenance, renewal, and processing of loan drawdowns, repayments, and related documentation across core systems such as Loan IQ, Orion, and Razor.
- Ensuring operational excellence by processing transactions with a high degree of accuracy, performing thorough validations, and consistently meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
- Monitoring and maintaining loan documentation, following up on outstanding requirements, and ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance throughout the lending lifecycle.
- Driving the timely collection of fees and interest while maintaining accurate records and ensuring all activities are appropriately reflected in workflow management tools and operational systems.
- Partnering closely with Relationship Managers, Credit teams, and other key stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and provide proactive support on lending and collateral management matters.
- Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders by responding to queries promptly, providing status updates, and escalating risks, issues, or customer concerns where necessary.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation, and recommending practical solutions to enhance operational efficiency, controls, and the overall customer experience.
- Contributing to a collaborative and compliant work environment by supporting projects, adhering to established policies and procedures, maintaining required accreditations, and ensuring business continuity readiness.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- 5+ years of experience in Banking Operations, Lending Services, or Institutional Banking, with hands-on exposure to systems such as Loan IQ, Orion, Razor, and CACHE, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms and processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring high-quality outcomes and the successful completion of tasks from initiation through to resolution.
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and service level expectations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across internal teams, business stakeholders, and external clients.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive and self-motivated approach to delivering operational excellence.
- Resilience and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, effectively navigating challenges, responding positively to change, and contributing to a high-performing team environment.
