We’re looking for a Senior Identity Engineer to join our Workforce Authentication Squad Group Security – Identity & Access Management (IAM) Tech Area.

In this role, you’ll act as a senior individual contributor to end-to-end strategy, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale identity solutions.

You’ll play a key role in the squad as a Senior Engineer shaping modern authentication patterns, onboarding applications to IAM platforms, and ensuring secure, scalable, and seamless access across the organization.

What will your day look like?

  • Contribute to technical strategy, architecture, and delivery for IAM solutions within the Tech Area.
  • Contribute to and enhance authentication & integration patterns used across Enterprise.
  • Contribute to solutions involving all modern Open-standards authentication frameworks and support implement them with in Ping Identity Product area.
  • Act as an SME for Access Management, supporting application onboarding to components involving Ping Identity suite of products
    • Ping Access, Ping Federate, Ping Directory Proxy, Ping Directory
  • Implement secure identity solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
  • Apply expertise in SAML, OAuth, OIDC, FIDO, SPIFFE/SPIRE to real-world IAM use cases
  • Develop and customize IAM components (e.g., IdP adapters, plugins) in Ping Identity Stacks.
  • Leverage CI/CD and DevOps practices to automate IAM deployments
  • Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, compliant, and cost-effective
  • Manage technical debt, risks, and security posture

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • 8+ years’ experience in IAM domain with strong hands-on expertise in Ping Identity suite (PingAccess, PingFederate, Ping-Directory, PIngDirectory Proxy).
  • Proven ability to configure and manage Ping Identity suite of products ( PA, PF, PDP and PD)  in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience onboarding applications for SSO, MFA, and STS using Ping platforms
  • Strong understanding of authentication and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, FIDO, SPIFFE/SPIRE)
  • Experience in designing or contributing to enterprise IAM architectures and integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and building automation for IAM solutions( AWS, GCP , Azure environments).
  • Ability to develop custom IAM extensions (adapters/plugins) with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Acts as a technical leader: mentors engineers, drives secure design practices, and collaborates across Product, Security, Architecture, and Operations;
  • Exposure to Entra ID and ForgeRock IDPs is a plus
