About the Role
As a Senior Functional Analyst (4.2) in the Delivery and Change CoE, you are responsible for owning, maintaining the repository and traceability of Business architecture, Business scenarios, Process maps, Functional/ Non-Functional requirements, Tech requirements and Test cases. You provide the (a) tooling expertise, primarily built off JIRA add-ons, (b) support project-specific enrichment of the framework components and (c) thought leadership to build architectural upliftment and reuse of the repository.

What will your day look like?
As a Senior Functional Analyst, your accountabilities include:
- Maintenance of all Reference data in the Requirements management tool – R4J
- Ensure end-to-end traceability is maintained starting from Strategy/ Framework level through to Project specific implementation and testing
- Be the guardian of Requirements management data, drive data quality and monitor adherence to guidelines
- Implement Change Control through Change requests management, change request assessment and management of Change Advisory Board reviews
- Configure the R4J tool to maintain up-to-date the requirements traceability model
- Build, Run and maintain traceability and other reports on ongoing basis
- Define and maintain R4J roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders and implement role-based permissions
- Ensure adherence to tech support process / engagement with Vendor and Tooling Platforms team
- Maintain training material and processes related to the repository and traceability model
- Identify and raise risks and issues, inter-dependencies throughout the life of the project
- Identify and contribute to reusability based on the knowledge held in the repository
- Building collaborative relationships with colleagues and business partners to enable project and wider COE objectives to be achieved
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery and Change CoE involving people, process, and tools
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Banking experience
- 6+ years in a Requirements Management, Business Analysis, System Analysis or Quality Assurance role
- Extensive experience in enterprise tooling – Atlassian suite not restricted to JIRA, Confluence and other add-ons
- Extensive experience in creating and maintaining traceability across large programs of work
- Strong experience in APIs and Integration
- Experience across project methodologies e.g., Agile and Traditional
- In-depth experience in eliciting, analysing, and validating business and/or system requirements
- Experience in process modelling, preferably on Signavio or similar process mapping tool
- Experience in a data driven environment, with the ability to draw insights and interpretations
- Solid understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures
- Ability to convert distinct requirements and make connections across the framework components
- Ability to appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with a high complexity, works collaboratively as part of a team and clearly represents findings
- Excellent verbal and written communication to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Able to lead, mentor and coach peers and stakeholders

- Exposure to Requirements-for-JIRA (R4J) or similar requirements management tools
- Experience in Change Control and Management
- Core banking experience
- Transformation programme experience
- Experience of agile methodologies such as SCRUM, LEAN and Kanban
