About the Role

Common Decision Platform is based on PowerCurve technology and provides lending decisioning services for HL, SBL (Incl Asset Finance), Consumer Cards, Commercial cards, PLs and Mid-Market lending (MMLS) portfolios. It also provides online tools for:
•    Hardship Assessment (HAM)

A developer for the common decision platform will be primarily responsible for building integrations with various data sources using java , and processing and transforming the data to be fit for decision strategy execution. 

So as an Engineer for this team, you will be responsible for building best solutions for the bank, improving the way we work at ANZ and as a Squad member, contributing to the accomplishment of the Squad’s mission

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Software Engineer, you are expected to:

• Own and manage delivery of projects for better growth of the business.
• Responsible for overall health and stability of the production systems.
• Maintain strong customer/stakeholder relationship, understand the business priorities and act in a way which maximizes value for business.
• Drive, provide solution, and be responsible for successful execution of the strategic initiatives/changes; and help others see the vision and benefits of those initiatives.
• Proactively identify, support and drive opportunities for change, and if required, engage with others to gain buy-in and act as an advocate for improvements.
• Believe and advocate for strong “Risk” culture and be proactive in managing variety of Functional and Non-Functional Risk in a timely manner. 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• 7-10 years of software development experience, preferable in Java.
• Experience and strong programming in Java or .Net, and RDBMS
• Experience working with Experian product suites is a plus. Experience and knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, Agile, Scrum, Release Management, & Project Management
  
• Good understanding of Investment Banking operations and esp. Data Management.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, coach and develop others.
