About the Role
As a Operation Specialist in our Lending Operations, the primary function of this role is to manage, lead and support the lending functions of ANZ Wholesale Lending Operations unit for Operations. Duties include Loans processing, Static data maintenance, Limit Maintenance on a timely and accurate basis. Good customer service ethics is part of this job, putting customers first and delivering operations service that continuously exceeds the internal and external customer's expectations. The ability to build relationships and networks is essential to achieve this outcome. Problem analysis and solving is required as well as an ability to determine when issues require escalation.

What will your day look like?
- Provide an integrated and high level of customer service to the internal and external customers through collaboration and engagement.
- Ensure all customer correspondence is clear, concise, timely and accurate.
- Responds and follows-through to ensure customer’s needs are met by liaising with other parts of Operations to achieve customer delight.
- Resolves as required, or escalates complex matters to the Line manager.
- Seek to understand all relevant team functions by being a Subject Matter Expert.
- Conducts checks before processing, ensuring all documents' details are accurate, verifies transactions
- Act as a first point of contact for internal and external parties for all team matters impacting the business, including Business Continuity Plan
- Control workflow
- Strong ability to guide employees toward goal achievement through teamwork/collaboration, motivation and development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organisation.
- Provide guidance & training to less experienced team members to ensure increase in productivity.
- Identifying any potential gaps and suggest appropriate action to Line Manager.
- Develop and implement appropriate procedures, processes and cross training
- Ensure all services delivered comply with ANZ Group governance requirements, policies, processes and standards and with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve issues or escalate them as required
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Knowledge of Lending is a must.
- Knowledge on LoanIQ for minimum of 24 Months
- Concern for Quality and Standards
- Excellent communication skills in written and oral English
