About the Role

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Senior Technical developer with a background in leading and developing customised business features in Salesforce to join the ANZ Salesforce Features team to build, support and to contribute to the design of ANZ’s Salesforce platform.

Work Hours: 7 AM to 4 PM

What will your day look like?

In this role you will have the following opportunities: 

  • Share accountability for the technical standards and principles for the projects they work on or lead, ensuring a holistic approach for all Salesforce Feature development projects 
  • Share accountability for aligning the team with the technical direction, for the coding, design, code quality, system stability and resiliency of the area they are working on or leading 
  • Partner with Chapter Lead(s), Platform Lead(s), Technical Lead(s) and Architect(s) to deliver changes faster and improve quality and stability of your project/product 
  • Collaborate closely with Chapter Lead(s), Platform Lead(s), Lead Engineers, Lead Developers, Architecture, Business Analysts, Product Owners and other team members to ensure solutions meet customer expectations
  • Endorse and promote the ANZ way of working (ICARE values)
  • Stimulate interaction between squads with aim to realise purpose and missions
  • Inspire teams and individuals to innovate and try new things, promotes uplifting of each other, and is adaptive to change
  • Nurture a growth mindset and curiosity, and encourages sharing of knowledge
  • Mentor and/or coaches developers
  • Will contribute to technical guidance for the team to deliver high-quality products
  • Understands the business domain and aligns with the direction, both present and future, for technical improvements or solutions
  • Work in an Agile, customer centric and collaborative team, with a range of business and technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes and value for our customers

What will you bring?

 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally be/ bring the following: 

  • People oriented, with a passion for developing others; having previous people leadership or mentoring experience would be a bonus
  • Possess collaborative leadership skills that encourages knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvement
  • 7+ years Salesforce development experience at a Senior level
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification (minimum requirement)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (minimum requirement)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification (beneficial)
  • Salesforce Omni Studio Consultant or Developer (beneficial)
  • Salesforce Java Script Developer Certification (beneficial)
  • Financial experience/background (nice to have)
  • Experience and knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • A fast learner, able to work independently, and adapt to changing priorities to support business goals/objectives
  • A clear leader in complex troubleshooting and problem determination
  • The ability to identify areas for process improvement and champion change
