About the Role
As a Quality Engineer in our Tech Australia Retail and Commercial Domain, you’ll play a key role in leveraging your engineering and testing expertise to ensure the successful delivery of complex features in fast-paced environments. You bring the "engineering" mindset to Quality Engineering and use these skills to identify improvement. You’ll view testing as part of the process and not a phase to be managed and be prepared to advocate and influence this point of view.

What will your day look like?
Your typical day is likely to include:
- Peer with others to solve day to day testing and engineering problems.
- Collaborate with quality engineers and other stakeholders to identify risks early and help fix bugs as they arise, improving quality from the outset. Test early and test often
- Coach and collaborate with engineers to build fast and reliable test suites that support our release processes
- Work alongside chapter leads to identify improvement areas and drive the implementations.
- Contribute to reusable libraries and tools to implement and continuously improve our testing outcomes.
What will you bring?
- Must have 8+years relevant experience as a quality engineer.
- You know what good looks like and proactively lead in that direction.
- Ability to communicate and create shared clarity with business and technology peers.
- Experience in building and maintaining automated test suites
- Experience in testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, web applications, native mobile applications (iOS and Android), and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Ability to design and implement a CI/CD pipeline – we use Github Actions.
- Proficient in at least 1 programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python, GoLang). Java and Golang is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and triage issues effectively using debug logs, OpenTelemetry (OTel) traces, and metrics to identify root causes
- Experience working in a continuous delivery environment.
- A working knowledge of Accessibility, performance and volume testing.
