About the Role

As a Process lead - RTM, you will play key role in undertaking responsibility for the reconciliation of collateral, primary economic terms & regulatory reporting reconciliations using various systems and applications to satisfactorily identify, report and resolve exceptions.

What will your day look like?


As a Process Lead, you will:

  • Ensuring any significant exceptions are reported to the relevant stakeholders ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Actioning exceptions as per the relevant escalation procedures as required.
  • Regular UAT testing of new reconciliations and engagement of stakeholders to ensure any issues are actioned.
  • Regular UAT testing of new systems and engagement of stakeholders to ensure any issues are actioned.
  • Assisting with the regulatory compliance reporting associated with the Dodd-Frank Act and all other Jurisdiction OTC regulatory rules.
  • Assisting with ensuring periodic internal & external audit.
  • Performing the regulatory reconciliations for different jurisdictions and assisting the regulatory reporting team for remediations
  • Identifying new regulatory compliance issues and escalate to stakeholders and compliance teams.
  • Preparing and presenting MIS to compliance and stakeholders and work with reporting teams for the remediations within the compliance timeframe.
  • Driving process improvements and transitioning new regulatory reconciliations
  • Understanding new regulatory requirements and implementing changes and updating procedures
  • Good understanding of the NFR.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 

  • Excellent knowledge of OTC trade reporting, covering numerous jurisdictions, trade affirmation reconciliations, daily mark to market movements of trading equity, collateral management and of OTC products and their respective workflows through the various systems, including manual processes
  • Good relationship building and communication skills.
  • Maintain constructive working relationships within the Middle Office team in all locations globally
  • Interface with relevant stakeholders from ANZ Projects, Front Office, Client Onboarding, Collateral Management and Technology to ensure timely internal & regulatory reporting.
  • Liaise with New Products and system/application teams to ensure all flows are meeting regulatory, risk and time constraints and escalate where they are not.
  • Track over/under reported OTC products & collateral/portfolio reconciling items identified in the reconciliation process.
  • Requires engagement with a variety of stakeholders including Front Office, Middle Office, Operations and IT department, to discuss issues and root causes and agree sound risk-balanced solutions
