About the Role
As a Process Lead, Collatoral Management, you’ll be responsible for responsible for overseeing end-to-end collateral operations across ANZ markets, ensuring accuracy, risk control, and operational efficiency. The role provides leadership, subject matter expertise, and strategic support to the collateral team while driving process improvements, regulatory compliance, and strong stakeholder engagement. The Process Lead acts as a bridge between operations, technology, transformation, and risk partners to deliver a robust collateral function.

What will your day look like?
As a Process Lead, you are primarily responsible for below acitivities :
- Work closely with the markets business stakeholders and the Head of CMT to meet the collateral margining requirements of the markets business.
- Engage with senior management stakeholders to keep them appraised of ANZ’s CMT status.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement by initiating & leading dialogue, and resolving customer queries
- Answer all queries and work flow requests in a timely manner and in line with stakeholder expectations.
- Accurately process all workflows in a timely manner.
- Ensure data integrity in all core systems and documentation.
- Work closely with Compliance Advisory, Legal and Global Markets Projects to define and maintain the overall scope, prioritisation vision and plan for Global Markets Compliance with OTC regulations globally.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Lead daily collateral management operations including margining, settlements, exposure monitoring, and dispute resolution.
- 5–8 years of experience in Collateral Management or Middle Office Operations
- Oversee workload distribution, team performance, and adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and SME support to analysts and specialists.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of margin calls for OTC derivatives, repos, and securities lending.
- Oversee reconciliation of exposures, collateral balances, and settlement breaks.
- Identify and mitigate operational, credit, and market risks inherent in collateral workflows.
- Act as primary contact for Front Office, Credit Risk, Treasury, Legal, Technology, and global middle-office partners.
- Engage with external counterparties, custodians, clearing houses, and vendors for dispute resolution and operational alignment.
- Deep understanding of collateral management for OTC derivatives, repos, and securities financing.
- Strong knowledge of ANZ regulatory environment (APRA, ASIC) and global margin requirements.
- Hands-on experience with collateral platforms (TriResolve, AcadiaSoft, Murex, Sentry).
