About the Role
In the role of Payments Processing Associate , you will be responsible for the ongoing management of construction home loans through progressive drawdowns, ensuring projects are completed efficiently while meeting all regulatory and bank requirements. You will assess and process construction loan requests, verify supporting documentation, monitor compliance, and maintain accurate records throughout the loan lifecycle. Through effective stakeholder communication and timely processing, you will deliver positive customer outcomes within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will also identify opportunities for continuous improvement, support operational excellence, and contribute to enhancing customer experience while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and risk management across all activities.

What will your day look like?
As a Payments Processing Associate, you will:
- Manage construction loan drawdowns and payment processing activities, ensuring transactions are completed accurately, on time, and in line with regulatory and bank requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries from customers, internal stakeholders, and business partners, providing accurate information and timely updates.
- Review and maintain customer records, document case updates, and take ownership of resolving customer queries while meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business teams, vendors, and support functions to ensure seamless service delivery and positive customer outcomes.
- Monitor compliance, identify and escalate potential risks, suspicious activities, or operational issues, and support the preparation of regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies, enhancing operational effectiveness, and supporting a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with 6 months to 3 years of experience; prior banking, lending, or financial services experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to handle complex financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional service and customer outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong computer literacy.
- Sound understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Accurate data entry, record management, and analytical skills with a focus on quality, compliance, and risk awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning.
