About the Role
This role will lead the governance and oversight of procurement projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic sourcing objectives Procurement Operations & Excellence, SRM and TPRM while embedding consistent PMO practices across the procurement function.

What will your day look like?
- Defining and enforcing governance frameworks for sourcing projects, supplier transitions, and procurement and TPRM transformation initiatives.
- Maintaining visibility across all procurement projects, track milestones, dependencies, and escalate risks or delays.
- Developing standardized templates, workflows, and delivery models tailored to procurement (e.g. RFX timelines, supplier onboarding checklists).
- Delivering dashboards and reports on procurement project status, savings realization, supplier performance, and risk exposure.
- Coordinating with category managers, legal, finance, and business units to ensure project alignment and stakeholder engagement.
- Supporting allocation of procurement resources across projects, balancing BAU and strategic initiatives.
- Conducting project health checks and ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Capturing lessons learned from sourcing cycles and embed improvements into future procurement governance.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience managing sourcing initiatives, supplier transitions, or procurement system rollouts.
- Strong understanding of project governance, stage gates, and assurance processes within a procurement setting.
- Experience running or contributing to a PMO, including reporting, resource planning, and portfolio management.
- Ability to engage cross-functional teams—especially category leads, legal, finance, and business owners.
- Familiarity with procurement platforms (e.g. Coupa, SAP Ariba) and project tools (e.g. Smartsheet, MS Project, Power BI).
- Understanding of procurement risks (e.g. supplier failure, contract gaps) and how to mitigate them through governance.
‘Good to have’ knowledge, skills, and experiences.
- Experience supporting procurement transformation or system migrations (e.g. ERP upgrades, e-sourcing adoption).
- Familiarity with agile principles and how they apply to procurement projects (e.g. iterative supplier onboarding).
- Ability to link project outcomes to cost savings, value creation, and supplier performance.
- Experience coaching procurement teams on project delivery, governance, and PMO tools.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations (e.g. public sector, ESG, modern slavery) and how they impact project delivery.
