About the Role

 

As an Ops Analyst Exception Processing, you will leverage your knowledge of accounting, financial concepts, and banking operations to manage key activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, and timely request processing. You will ensure high-quality output, efficient work allocation, adherence to SLAs, and effective resolution of customer queries and operational discrepancies.

 

You will also drive process improvements, maintain updated documentation, and support team development through upskilling and cross-skilling initiatives. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to deliver within timelines are essential for success in this role.

What will your day look like?

 

As an Ops Analyst Exception Processing, you will:

 

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by managing internal and external queries, ensuring timely updates, and resolving requests and complaints accurately.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for team matters, fostering a “right first time” approach and encouraging accountability.
  • Manage and prioritize daily workloads to ensure requests are processed efficiently in line with bank policies and customer requirements.
  • Track and manage outstanding items, proactively identifying gaps and implementing controls to mitigate operational and audit risks.
  • Drive process improvements through regular reviews, while supporting volume forecasting, planning, and productivity optimization.
  • Strengthen team capability by coaching, mentoring, and promoting a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Identify process issues, conduct root cause analysis, support change initiatives, and work closely with stakeholders to enhance overall performance.
