What will your day look like?
As an Operations Analyst – AU Payments Servicing, your responsibilities will include :
- Perform daily reconciliation of Nostro accounts to identify breaks and discrepancies.
- Investigate unmatched transactions and resolve payment-related issues promptly.
- Analyze root causes of breaks and implement corrective actions.
- Handle and interpret SWIFT messages for payment tracking and resolution.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management standards.
- Maintain detailed records of investigations and outcomes for audit and reporting.
- Identify process gaps and recommend automation or efficiency improvements
- Develop strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify recurring issues and suggest basic process enhancements.
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for system changes or upgrades.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Minimum of 2-3 years banking experience in a payments or transaction processing role within banking, fintech, or corporate treasury.
- Deep familiarity with domestic and international payment networks (e.g., SWIFT, ACH, RTGS, NEFT).
- Strong grasp of financial regulations including AML, KYC, OFAC, and internal risk controls.
- Proficient in transaction lifecycle, ledger entries, and exception handling
- Advanced use of Excel, financial platforms and case management tools.
- Prior experience in payments, settlements, or reconciliation.
