About the Role
To provide excellent support in quoting interest rates on unconditional applications, act on adviser instructions to model loans (loan structure confirmations), handover to Branch for customer on-boarding, post approval support by finalising loan application instructions to CLO through a streamlined process while ensuring settlement compliance checks are met. Facilitating a seamless handover between the teams which will result in quality customer experience and foster stronger interdepartmental relationships/collaborations. Specialist is required to have strong process knowledge in Lending support team functions and should be able to support all with queries and escalations.

What will your day look like?
As an Operations Specialist, you will:
- High quality of work, and taking ownership to resolve any customer queries and complaints efficiently and effectively and escalating as appropriate.
- Drive actions that support end-to-end cycle time reduction.
- Provide accurate and up to date information on all enquiries.
- Follow up where necessary to meet customer needs
- Provide any written concerns from customers to supervisor/manager together with proposed solutions
- Ensure internal service level agreements are meet through meeting individual set target
- Ensure compliance of all known operating risk and practices are completed.
- Update customer file with a brief, clear and concise comments for further reference.
- Acts as a first point of call for teammates with process related questions
- Assists Team Leader in work allocation/Reports
- Demonstrates understanding of ANZ's Risk and Compliance framework as it applies to this role
- Ensure good behaviours are demonstrated at all times that display ICARE values
- No unexpected breaches or errors that have a material impact on the Banks license/share price/reputation
- Improvement of team’s productivity by reducing time to proficiency
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Graduate in bachelor/ Master with commerce, with minimum 3 years of experience ( Bank/ lending experience will add on value )
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise own workflow and keep to strict deadlines
- Ability to handle complex transactions
- Strong customer focus
- Good computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills
- Good knowledge of lending
- Strong lending knowledge (Mandatory)
