About the Role


As a Process Lead, FOC&S India, you’ll be responsible to supports Front Office and Client Support teams during New York business hours, ensuring smooth execution of daily Markets operations. The role is responsible for overseeing trade lifecycle management, funding support, operational controls, and issue resolution across multiple asset classes. Acting as a key liaison between Front Office, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams, the individual will drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and strategic change programs while maintaining a strong control environment and supporting business growth. The position requires flexibility to work in the New York shift.

What will your day look like?


As a Process Lead, FOC&S India, you will:

  • Ensure that assigned controls and monitoring activities are conducted within agreed cost parameters, ensures that the outputs and benefits are clear and that identified products provide efficiencies in business.
  • As required, assist with activities in implementing process improvement and embedding BAU transition of controls testing and monitoring.
  • Work effectively with the customers to elicit project requirements that are fit for purpose, recommending appropriate stakeholders to be involved with elicitation activities.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate requirements clearly and concisely.
  • Work with the project team to ensure customer satisfaction with project deliverables.
  • Identify and implement process improvements Improve timeliness, consistency, accuracy and knowledge to reduce errors.
  • Manage reviews of workflows/procedures to maintain quality of processes.
  • Oversight of all amendments to documentation/flow charts.
  • Presentation of initiatives to senior management.
  • Review and report relevant risk assessments to Head of FO&CS.

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Should have sound knowledge of FICC & Derivative products supported by Front Office Support, Trade booking/amendment, Data flows.
  • Understanding of Funding requirement of Market Business.
  • Ability to detect anomalies, errors and investigate and document the associated root causes.
  • Ability to identify and deliver potential process improvements.
  • Excellent knowledge of Front to back trade flow, Operational Risk Management principles, Reconciliations and Controls.
