About the Role

The Manager - Markets Regulatory Data Management, plays a critical role in ensuring the Global Markets business complies with global regulatory reforms such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MAS and ASIC, in line with G20 commitments for OTC derivatives reporting and market conduct rules. As part of the Markets Data Management team, the position focuses on managing and validating regulatory data to support compliant client onboarding, accurate trade records, and reliable reporting across ANZ’s Markets platforms.

What will your day look like?

As a Manager, Markets Regulatory Data Management, you will:

 

  • Ensure that assigned OTC data analysis activities are conducted within agreed cost parameters, ensures that the outputs and benefits are clear and that identified products provide efficiencies in business
  • Work efficiently with the customer to elicit requirements that are fit for purpose, recommending appropriate stakeholders to be involved with elicitation activities
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate requirements clearly and concisely
  • Manage Initial and Ongoing Co-ordination & management of customer Regulatory requirements (e.g. Dodd Frank, EMIR, APRA, CPS 226, IM/VM etc..)
  • Adhere to established ANZ policy and procedures and display an understanding of project and program practices and governance
  • Provide training sessions to Non Hub Local onboarding teams.
  • Adhere to regulatory and internal policies at all time to ensure strong audit review results 

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Minimum 8 years of banking experience, preferrably in Markets
  • Understanding of Markets Products, Onboarding and static data management in core systems.
  • Knowledge of KYC/AML procedures & Regulatory requirements impacting Markets Products
  • Familiarity with Client On-Boarding processes, KYC systems and workflow tools
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analytical/reconciliation skills
  • Ability to detect anomalies, errors and investigate and document the associated root causes
  • Strong skillset on Data Extraction and Analysis including technical competencies with SQL (SQL Server Management), MS Excel VBA is an advantage
