About the Role

As a Manager, Data Engineering within the Data & Analytics team, you will be responsible for analyzing understanding data sources, participating in the design, engineering data solutions and providing insights and guidance on best practices.

You will work with a range of business stakeholders and internal teams to design and deliver comprehensive data solutions. You will have a strong data engineering background and bring in Data as a product mindset.

What will your day look like?

• Hands-on data engineering, design data ingestions, configuration, and installation.
• Identify and develop the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, engineer data load management and security features.
• Develop data/automation models on an iterative basis supporting various facets of the business function and data lifecycle.
• Working in a cross skilled squad with people both from business and technology to build intuitive data products.
• Work with other members of the TB Data & Analytics team, Frontline, Products, Operations, Channels and Technology partners to deliver the data solution.
   

What will you bring?

• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (e.g., SQL, Stored Procedures, Python, Cloud computing).
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms
• Knowledge of metadata management, data modelling, and related tools.
• Knowledge on data analytics automation.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Experience with migration to Cloud Technologies will be an added advantage (e.g., GCP, AWS).
