About the Role

 

As a Lead, Regulatory Operations in our CTT Operations & Reporting team, you’ll play a key role in helping to executing and managing the procedures and processes, verify, update or add to the CRS and FATCA regulatory reports. This role manages the tribe, working closely with key stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, and front‑line teams, manage interdependencies and raise risks and meet SLA.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Operations Analyst, you will:

 

  • Execute Regulatory Reporting Controls: Work with the CTT Operations & Reporting team to ensure CRS and FATCA submissions meet the standards expected by global tax authorities.
  • Perform Analysis: Execute procedures to verify, update, and maintain CRS and FATCA regulatory reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure Assurance & Quality Control: Apply strong attention to detail when performing verification procedures and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve exceptions.
  • Support Operational Processes: Assist with on-the-job training for new team members and contribute to effective process execution.
  • Conduct Data Quality Checks: Perform data validation and spot checks to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure client data is accurate, consistent, and relevant.
  • Manage Escalations: Identify risks and issues, escalate them appropriately, and provide regular status updates to management.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with colleagues across the Tax CoE, CTT Operations & Reporting, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Build Regulatory Knowledge: Develop expertise in CRS and FATCA compliance within the banking domain.
  • Drive Continuous Learning: Enhance regulatory and operational knowledge through training, reading, and mentoring from subject matter experts.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

 

  • 8–10 years of overall experience, with 3–5 years of relevant experience in regulatory operations, compliance, or tax reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (basic to advanced) and the ability to analyse large datasets.
  • Experience with data and reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience within operations, regulatory compliance, or AML/KYC environments, with exposure to areas such as KYC, Financial Crime, CRS, or Tax Operations.
  • Good understanding of regulatory frameworks including FATCA, CRS, and KYC systems/workflow tools.
  • Proven experience working within KPI, SLA, and quality control frameworks.
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members and manage operational processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience raising risks and issues, providing timely escalation and status reporting.
  • Ability to produce operational dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Qlik Sense.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
