About the Role

The ServiceNow Platform Administrator & Developer should be knowledgeable in ServiceNow Best practices, to fill a critical role. The core focus of this role is ServiceNow Administration that will work closely with Multiple Tenants and various Integration Squads. We are looking for a candidate who can communicate effectively, collaborate with multiple business units, is adaptable to change and will take the initiative to help develop/manage the stakeholder’s requirement from platform perspective. The successful candidate will be able to take a leadership role in this effort from the ServiceNow Platform space. This team is fast paced, Agile, Lean, and works closely with other teams in a matrix manner. Strong team player, ability to work independently and in a team as well, ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, commitment towards learning

What will your day look like?

  • You need to ensure & maintain ServiceNow Platform is running smoothly. 
  • You will be working on the assigned epics/stories/tickets in Jira/ServiceNow and resolve it within SLA 
  • As an Engineer, you are expected to attend Scrum Meeting & Daily Stand-ups and share your updates/concerns. 
  • Expected to work between 0800-1700 IST and provide On-call support on a rotational basis. 

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • 4+ Years of Total Experience with 2+ Years in ServiceNow Platform 

  • Strong knowledge on ServiceNow Platform Administration 

  • Maintains, Develop and Enhances ITSM environment including Incident, Request, Problem, Change and Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, Service Portals, SLAs, Discovery, and Integrations. 

  • Participates in the implementation and configuration of other ServiceNow products outside of ITSM to increase the adoption of the ServiceNow platform. 

  • Responsible for performing daily administration, issue resolution, and troubleshooting of the ServiceNow platform. 

  • Develop systems integrations and process automation - fully utilizing the platform's workflow capabilities 

  • Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting 

  • Programming experience with server-side and client-side JavaScript, Ajax, JSON and XML, preferably within ServiceNow (business rules, script includes, client scripts, transform map scripts, etc.) 

  • Develop new data imports and transforms 

  • Install and maintenance of the mid server
