About the Role

As an Engineer - Cloud Designer in Payments Domain you’ll play a key role in helping to Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions for the Payments domain. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Designer to join our Payments domain team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with over 10 years of experience, and a proven track record in cloud migration and setup for large enterprises, particularly within regulated entities. This role requires expertise in designing high-performance, reliable, secure, and scalable systems.

What will your day look like?

As a Cloud Designer, you will:

 

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions for the Payments domain, ensuring high performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

  • Lead cloud migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing cloud infrastructure to enhance performance and security.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and payments.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Over 8- 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 4+ years in cloud migration and setup for large enterprises, especially regulated entities.

  • Proven experience in designing high-performance, reliable, secure, and scalable systems.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
