About the Role
As a ControlM Engineer in our New Zealand Technology, you’ll play a key role in building the right solution for our customers which directly contribute to ANZ’s purpose to “shape a world where people and communities thrive.”

Work Hours: 7 AM to 4 PM
What will your day look like?

Design, build and test robust Control-M schedules in both Distributed and Mainframe environments.

Proactively collaborate with our key stake holders to lead them through complex requirements.

Technically review, analyse and enhance departmental processes and procedures, with a key focus on automation.

Support and develop in-house written automation tools and utilities.

Provide batch support for Mainframe and Distributed Control-M environments.

Ensure adherence to Change Management and Incident Processes.

Ensure adherence to Control-M schedule and JCL standards.

Maintain procedural documentation.

Mentor other team members in all aspects of the above.
What will you bring?
The ‘must have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
- Previous experience of large, complex, integrated environments
- Control-M EM (Distributed) scheduling knowledge to a high level of expertise
- Control-M, Control-D and Control-B Mainframe scheduling knowledge to a high level of expertise
- IBM Mainframe (Z/OS) to a high level of expertise including JES2, ISPF, TSO, JCL, REXX, Connect Direct, FileAid
- Endeavour code management
- Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Risk and Change Management
- Process and workflow analysis
The ‘good to have’ knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
- ServiceNow - Change and Incident Management
- JIRA
- Automation through scripting
- Reporting Analysis
- SharePoint/DocShare
