About the Role


As an Engineer in our Risk, Legal and Audit Technology domain, you’ll play a key role in helping to deliver solutions supporting Retail and Commercial Risk applications and Enterprise, Social and Governance (ESG) data platform. Your primary role will be to perform data modelling, establishing and maintaining data governance practices across multiple applications.

What will your day look like?

 

As an Engineer, you will:
 

  • Work closely with the architecture and data governance team along with squad members to deliver the squad priorities sprint after sprint
  • Analyse data flow of several dependent applications, understand the nature of data flow and the relationship between data elements.
  • Create logical data models, establish relationships between entities
  • Ensure every release adheres to data governance principles established in the domain
  • Use data management tools like Metadata Hub to understand and review end to end flow of metadata

What will you bring?

 

  • Strong analytical skills to understand, analyse the landscape of applications
  • Strong problem solving skills to come up with solutions to complex problems
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with background in data modelling and data analysis 
  • Experience in using any tool like Erwin to establish relationships between entities
  • Experience in physical and logical data modelling
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting data requirements, data migration business rules and development of complex data maps.
  • Good knowledge in SQL / scripting across different data platforms (Oracle, MS SQL Server ct.)
  • Experience in metadata management 
  • Working experience in Agile framework and good understanding of SDLC methodologies/guidelines
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
