About the Role

The Common Decision Platform, built on PowerCurve technology, provides lending decisioning services across multiple portfolios including Home Loans (HL), Small Business Loans (SBL, including Asset Finance), Consumer Cards, Commercial Cards, Personal Loans (PLs), and Mid-Market Lending (MMLS). It also offers online tools for Hardship Assessment (HAM).

As a DevOps Specialist within this team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining deployment pipelines, security patching, infrastructure maintenance, and defining best practices for code deployment and migration. As an Engineer, you will develop innovative solutions for the bank, enhance operational processes at ANZ, and actively contribute as a Squad member to achieve the Squad’s mission.

What will your day look like?

• Own and manage the delivery of projects aimed at business growth and improved efficiency.
• Ensure the health and stability of production systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand business priorities and maximize value.
• Drive and provide solutions for strategic initiatives and changes, helping others understand their vision and benefits.
• Proactively identify and champion opportunities for process improvement and change, gaining buy-in from stakeholders.
• Advocate for a strong risk culture, managing both functional and non-functional risks proactively and timely.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• 4-6 years of experience in DevOps with expertise in Jenkins and GitHub.
• Proven experience in building deployment pipelines using tools such as CodeFresh.
• Experience with Experian product suites and an understanding of their security vulnerabilities is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, Agile, Scrum, Release Management, and Project Management.
• Good understanding of Investment Banking operations, particularly in Data Management.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, coach, and develop others.
