About the Role

This role involves crafting, maintaining, and executing robust Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategies ensuring business continuity and resilience during disruptions at GCC Bengaluru.

This role will play integral role in uplifting resilience in various facets of enterprise with elevated focus on emerging crisis management risks (incl cyber security incidents and digital disruptions) and device mitigation plans.

What will your day look like?

As a Business Continuity Manager, you will:

  • Ensuring effective, smooth, timely effective implementation of Group BCM policies, programs, and frameworks to embed effective risk culture.

  • Support and steer I.AM Amplified and CPS 230 Program outcomes on GCC Resilience

  • Handle complex situations and take appropriate decisions to ensure business continuity.

  • Responsible for the focus on emerging risks from Cyber Security and other Crisis Management scenarios

  • Acts as a subject matter expert researching and delivering ‘best practice’ in the field of ‘Business Continuity Management’’ and ensuring systems and processes in specialist area are effective, current, and delivering results to the business.

  • Mentor and coach Business Continuity SPOCs. Advisory support for BG&C Teams and Management teams

  • Work with Supports functions like Technology, Transport, security, facilities etc for implementation of BCP activities.

  • Reviewing BC mitigation plans of new transitions by scrutinising Business Impact Assessment documents

  • Drive continual improvements in BCM Process through reviewing, analysing, and reporting on the progress and status on Bangalore BCM objectives and making appropriate recommendations

  • Development and implementation of processes for (i) risk assessment, treatment, monitoring, and reporting, (ii) audit and compliance issue tracking (iii) incident management and reporting.

  • Planning and executing BCP rehearsals and Call tree testing as per the schedule and in compliance to BCP policy.

  • Maintenance of alternate sites and assessment of the new requirements with the organisational and Business changes.

  • Ensure Vendor Criticality is assessed, and appropriate controls are incorporated.

  • Ensure compliance to ANZ Policies and other applicable regulatory requirements relevant to BCM.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Experience in Business Continuity Management / Co-ordination, preferably with BC professional qualification e.g. CBCP, BCMI

  • Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner

  • Able to build strong, open, and collaborative working relationships

  • Be proactive by acting and being persistent in addressing issues

  • Multi stake holder handling and complex situation management skills

  • Strong negotiating, influencing, consulting and coaching skills.
