About the Role

As a Business Analyst in the Delivery and Change CoE, you are responsible for liaising with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. As a Business Analyst, you provide thought leadership for the project and strive for continuous improvements of the analysis approach and deliverables.

What will your day look like?

 

As a Business Analyst, your accountabilities include:

 

  • Identify and understand the business problem and the impact of the proposed solution on the organisation’s operations.
  • Establish and manage the business analysis approach and work estimates to provide input to the development of the project plan/schedule.
  • Translate business needs into requirements using proven strong analysis techniques.
  • Produce high quality Business Analyst outputs/artefacts which are clearly defined, accurately documented and meet the needs of business and project stakeholders.
  • Actively manage the expectations of key project and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and raise risks and issues, adhere to change control processes, requirements traceability and management throughout the life of the project.
  • Building collaborative relationships with colleagues and business partners to enable project objectives to be achieved.
  • Support delivery implementation.
  • Develop and implement test plans.
  • Support and participate in user acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery and Change CoE involving people, process, and tools.

 

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Banking experience.
  • 4+ years in-depth experience as a Business Analyst, across project methodologies e.g., Agile and Traditional
  • Extensive experience in eliciting, analysing, and validating business requirements.
  • Extensive experience in analysing and mapping current state and target state business processes including modelling of end-to-end business process flows.
  • Extensive experience in Signavio process mapping tool.
  • Experience in a data driven environment, with the ability to draw insights and interpretations. 
  • Extensive experience in data analysis, data modelling and data migration.
  • Solid understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures.
  • Ability to appreciate difficult problems and work autonomously on tasks with a high complexity, works collaboratively as part of a team and clearly represents findings.
