About the Role

Associate Manager, CMVI data&Infra is responsible for delivering the project tasks on preparing and maintaining data solutions for various data projects and BAU activities that cater for performance assessment of Credit risk Models. The incumbent will apply business knowledge and technical expertise to ensure that all solutions are developed in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines. The incumbent of this role is expected work on projects tasks with minimal supervision by Project managers.

What will your day look like?

As an Associate Mgr, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain SAS programs for data analysis and reporting. 
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into in-house built model performance tool named MPIR.
  • Support BAU activities in CMVI Data & Infra area that includes regular refresh of model performance metrics
  • Identify and automate data routines to improve efficiency and enhance existing processes using SAS and SQL technologies.
  • Understands Agile and quality assurance concepts, data models, methodologies and documentation standards.
  • Support other strategic project initiatives

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Graduate qualification in Engineering or equivalent 
  • Overall 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in Data engineering using SAS and SQL technologies
  • Proficient in SAS programming and SAS tools (SAS EG, SAS DI)
  • Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of Credit Risk models and model monitoring/validation metrics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with large diverse teams 
  • Strong analytical skills, writing and ability to turn rows of data into useful information.
  • Ability to work well in a deadline-driven, self-managed environment.
