Your role as a Senior Data Scientist within the Data & Analytics team will be responsible for exploring, excavating and engineering automation software's using complex core banking, channels and Enterprise datasets, deriving intricate data insights, testing data hypothesis and customer algorithm results for various TB and divisional initiatives.

• Work closely with Institutional teams to solicit business data, process, and automation requirements.

• Develop data/automation models on an iterative basis supporting various facets of the business function and data lifecycle.

• Present data/business outcomes on an ongoing basis to a diverse and senior stakeholder group across Institutional.

• Work with other members of the TB Data & Analytics team, Frontline, Products, Operations, Channels and Technology partners to deliver the business solution.

What will you bring?

The ‘must have’ knowledge, skill, and experience (KSE) the role requires are:

• Proven data analytics and business process automation experience with sound commercial acumen and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ML/AI experience within Financial Services sector preferably Banking.

• Demonstrated experience with Python, R, SQL languages and solid understanding of Classification Techniques, Clustering, Predictive Modelling and NLP.

• Experience with ANZ Institutional systems and data lifecycle processes.

• Strong research and analytical skills to apply diverse modelling techniques to achieve desired customer outcomes.

• Experience with Transaction Banking products.

• Experience with Project Management methodologies.
