About the Role

 

As a Senior Manager of the Client Account Data Team based in India, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and effective management of client account data across ANZ Markets Systems (CSS, Murex, Core Static, etc). Accurate account data is critical for ensuring a good client experience through the trade lifecycle (booking, settlement and Confirmation).

Work Hours: Role requires working on a rotational basis, including US and UK shift timings 

Note: While the role is equivalent to AVP in the external market, the actual role title will be - 'Senior Manager, Client Account Data, to maintain consistency with ANZ internal role titles. 

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Manager, Client Account Data, you will:

 

  • Ensure data is maintained to industry standards to support STP processing across settlements and confirmation and onboarding process
  • Deliver capabilities that enhance the customer service environment and business performance.
  • Follow issues through to completion, ensuring thorough review and resolution, including effective handling of customer complaints.
  • Maintain awareness of operational risks and controls, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks to improve audit ratings.
  • Exceed customer expectations with a solution-focused approach and dedication to customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely resolution or escalation of complex matters.
  • Manage daily requests in line with bank policies, forecast and plan volumes and productivity, and ensure procedural compliance.
  • Provide direction and feedback to team members, ensuring focus on goals and Key Result Areas (KRAs), and support the creation of an engaged and diverse workforce.
  • Ensure no operational losses, work within budget constraints, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the financial services industry, regulatory compliance, Markets Product lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of Markets Products and their Lifecycles
  • Understand the importance of data, data flows and it’s ability to improve or impact operational processes.
  • Subject matter expert in either Markets Settlements, Confirmations or Reference Data
  • Supervisor management experience in a production environment with experience supervising multiple streams, teams or departments preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial services operations.
  • Experience with stakeholder management as well as building strong operational workforce. Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency by responding
  • Preferred experience in Market Operations (Settlements, Confirmations and Static Data)
