About the role

Role Location: ANZ Beijing, China

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time


As the Payment Ops Senior Officer, you will be responsible for payments and cash process while ensuring that regulatory and bank requirements are met. This position also requires the individual to be as team lead backup/SME supervising the daily operations of the team, ensuring timely, accurate payment processing in relation to Inward Remittance, Outward Remittance, AP, Reconcile, Expense claim, regulatory reporting . The individual has to deliver a positive customer experience within agreed timeframes i.e. Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Close liaison with peers and internal / external stakeholders to reduce unreconciled / unidentified items is expected, and individual must also possess strong understanding of AP, supplier on boarding process.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -

  • Demonstrated working experience in payment, AP, expense claim. Banking experience is preferred.

  • Good accounting knowledge. Computer knowledge and skills, and familiarity with applications, MS Office suite

  • University Graduate required. Finance related discipline desired

  • Good Communication skills and good command of oral and written both in Chinese and English

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet cut-offs and good managerial skills to lead team members effectively to achieve the corporate goal.

  • Good people management skills, previous team leader experience and process management preferred
