The Associate, Local Corp is dedicated to assist senior RM to manage team portfolio of diversified industries with year over year growth. To work with different product groups to execute cross-selling for clients’ satisfaction. To work with enablement teams to meet all kinds of internal process requirement. The role is also entitled to manage own account under seniors’ guidance.

• Manage credit, compliance and other risks

• Speak authoritatively and confidently with multiple daily contacts of clients to ensure smoothly execution of daily transactions together with relative product partners under time pressure.

• Solid credit assessment skill to assist RM to write credit memo in particular company background & strategy, economic calculation and a/c planning

• Keep warm working relationships with colleagues including but not limited to overseas RM, product partner, analyst, credit partner and enablement team to deliver seamless services to clients.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Passion to face external clients and strong capability to deal with multiple daily client contacts and demonstrated negotiation skills

• Extensive foreign bank experience in dealing with Chinese companies in mainland China. MA/MT program graduate preferred. Fluent Mandarin speaking, reading and written skills is a must. Familiar with local CBRIC, PBOC and SAFE regulations to deal with existing client independently to delivery banking products or services smoothly.

• Good product knowledge to identify customer needs and discuss with product partners to work out solutions in terms of PCM, Global Markets and Corporate Finance

• To demonstrate solid commercial banking product knowledge with proved track record to execute deals successfully. Relative product sales experience is a plus.

• Solid credit knowledge is a must

• Able to work with R&A to contact clients to get info for financial analysis and projection of credit memo

• Strong capability to set workflow control by ensuring multiple tasks and activities are well managed within deadline

• Self-motivated and discipline to deal with multiple tasks under time pressure
