About the Role

As a Senior Busine Analyst in our Service Now Platform Team (Service Platform & Strategy Tech Area, Enterprise Service Management Domain) you’ll play a key role in helping to be a true extension of our customers, providing thought leadership, expertise, and insight into emerging technologies, processes, and data across the ServiceNow ecosystem and to deliver value at scale, safely and at pace through innovative solutions. The Senior Analyst will work closely with the business to ensure alignment to standards and platform objectives whilst influencing outcomes to reduce toil and generate automation solutions.

What will your day look like?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• Bridge between Service Now Tenants & Platform Team; conduct detailed analysis, create documentation, and provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning. 

• Make informed decisions at time of requirements gathering to drive productivity gains and efficiency when identifying the solution to be used on the ServiceNow platform. 

• Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in the early stages of engagement to ensure delivery success.

• Will be required to engage with all Technology domains, business stake holders and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of ITSM practices and compliance requirements.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Should have overall 10+ years of experience and knowledge as a business analyst

• The ability to analyse and synthesize high-level themes, being the forefront of eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and benefits.

• Ability to define and articulate business and customer needs and drivers to inform decision making, assess and design solution outcomes & identify capability gaps (people, process and technological).

• Find opportunities to create efficiency gains, mitigate risks, improve operational performance through automation, process redesign and transformation.

• Mentoring and leading junior business analysts through technical and business knowledge sharing

• Proven experience in translating business requirements into user stories and support technical development and testing of solution. 

• Experience in evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and developing and implementing solutions

• Proven experience in change management activities and techniques.

• Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening and interpreting capabilities. Excellent negotiating, influencing and conflict management skills.
