About the Role
Develop data visualisation or manual solutions to provide data and insights on Financial Crime risk.
Be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, and business implementation activities for developed reports.
Maintain relationships across relevant stakeholders, transform data collected from various systems and databases using visualisation tools to allow stakeholders to discover insights and drive informed compliance and operational risk decisions.
This role requires forward thinking, working collaboratively across the portfolio and relevant business areas.

What will your day look like?
- Working with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand the business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into development features.
- Creation of QlikSense (or similar) dashboards to deliver analytics and insights that drive better Financial Crime risk and compliance outcomes.
- Adherence to ANZs ADF framework and coding standards and the Financial Crime Delivery Playbook.
- Developing, designing and supporting interactive Qlik Sense (or similar) dashboard reports
- Rapidly design, prototype and iterate creative concepts to meet the user requirements.
- Coordinating information exchange, understanding business problems, analysing data, and defining system and business process requirements
- Ensure successful project delivery with strict alignment to reporting and data practices and the production of all necessary documentation.
- Developing and implementing UAM and multiple role-based access roles to Qlik Sense (or similar) dashboards
- Performance tuning of dashboards to limit response time and defining server sizing for optimal performance of QlikSense (or similar) dashboards.
- Analysing and performance tuning of daily running jobs in production to re-design and develop the jobs to provide efficiency.
- Working with Database Administrators for any database related issues.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in setting up an end-to-end application architecture of a large-scale BI/reporting tool, with a specialisation in QlikSense
- Equivalent experience of at least 7+ years of with Business Intelligence/data visualisation tools with specialisation in QlikSense
- Dashboard building experience using BI and data visualisation tools with a specialisation in QlikSense along with strong Qlik scripting and data modelling experience.
- Coding experience in automation, data exploration and data mining tools such as VBA, Python and R
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical, strong ability to influence and demonstrated learning agility to digest complex and large information sets to draw insights, conclusions, and actions.
- Proven ability to use influencing skills to lead/drive outcomes that deliver business benefits, business outcomes, or resolve business problems within organisational strategy.
- Great attention to detail and organisational skills
- Not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty.’
- Experience/Ability to apply logic and critical thinking across the suite of information reports to provide insights on financial crime risk.
- Capability to understand Business architecture and Financial Crime ecosystem.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proven fast learner who possess good problem-solving skills
