As an Engineer in our Enablement Tribe you will provide input to design, build, test and support applications and / or underlying bank infrastructure. You will work on Property applications to uplift the server and desktop platforms, as well as development and operational support for the WorkplaceHub, based on ServiceNow. This role involves using property lifecycle and roadmaps to support the environment, and to support the property tech team from a technical application perspective.

What will your day look like

The Engineer – Enablement, Employee Experience is critical to making this happen and will be responsible for:

•    Providing Support and Maintenance of Property application Operating Environments including WorkplaceHub on ServiceNow.
•    Undertaking configuration/development work for minor incremental enhancements to the WorkplaceHub environment.
•    Being responsible for Lifecycle Management of all Property Engineering services, applications and platforms.
•    Ensuring lifecycle processes are followed, with rigourous testing, formal pilot/Proof of Concept, and service transition processes followed.
•    Ensures product continuity for engineering services and platforms.
•    Build strong relationships and work with IT personnel and our customers to understand the business requirements of the provided services
•    Provide escalation point from 3rd level Support.
•    Utilises tools and practices to build, verify and deploy solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing tech division capabilities
•    Implements a culture within the Tech Area, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation
•    Provide proactive management of applications, preventive maintenance, physical and data security and vulnerability management
•    Develop re-usable processes for new products and services.
•    Creates estimates and continuously reviews demand within the individual Squads/teams

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

•    You possess excellent knowledge of the following Microsoft products:  
o    Microsoft Windows Desktop products e.g. WIN10 & WIN10 VDI’s
o    Microsoft Windows Server products e.g. W2012R2/2016/2019/SQ: server
o    Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD
o    Microsoft BackOffice products
o    Microsoft Graph API
•    Ideally you have working knowledge of ITIL Management processes
•    You have a good working knowledge of ServiceNow and ideally have undertaken ServiceNow systems administrator training and certification
•    Support of SaaS- based products
•    Production change process experience
•    Jira/Confluence working knowledge
•    Knowledge of Property Technology tools in the market
•    You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to successfully manage customer and stakeholder relationships.
•    Ability to triage and diagnose defects/issues 
•    Experience working in an Agile environment
•    Understand customer needs to make sound judgments
