About the Role

As an Analyst (Data) in our Tribe Service Operations Engineering, Digital Portfolio, you’ll play a key role in helping to optimise the value that SOE delivers to Digital Portfolio and wider group.

What will your day look like?

• Work closely with Product Owner and stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.
• Design and build data driven solutions, applications, and dashboards.
• Establish relationship in data through data modelling and building dashboard and visualization using Tableau/QlikSense/Python.
• End to end management of application from refining requirements, prioritizing, build, deploy and support.
• Identify areas of improvement/automation within the Tribe and propose/implement solutions at pace.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following

• Minimum 7- 8 Years of experience in the Industry (Banking)

• Growth mindset supported by a continuous learning attitude and curiosity to solve an unresolved problem.

• Ability to see gaps in current working models/operating rhythms/systems/etc within the tribe and suggest strategic improvements and solutions.

• Strong customer lens and affinity.

• Expertise in skills as a data analyst - chapter area combined with broad capability and a proven ability to innovate and adapt to the latest developments.

• Ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders (translate technical into non-technical and vice-versa).

• Ability to prioritize work for the chapter, influence stakeholders, and deliver outcomes.

• Ability to translate data insights into practical strategic business recommendations.

• Experience in building dashboard and visualization using Tableau/QlikSense/Python or any other tools and framework Experience in building dashboard and visualization using Tableau/QlikSense/Python

• Proficient in exploratory data analytics for large sets of data using Python libraries to derive meaningful insights.

• Expertise in implementing automation solutions, by extracting data using API integration from multiple systems like ServiceNow/JIRA/Confluence

• Experience in ETL data pipelines, patterns, frameworks, tools, and technologies (ex: Python, Pandas, PySpark, SSRS, SSIS) and their use in business contexts.

• Proficient in establishing relationship in data through data modelling and expertise in SQL query language.

• Expertise in at least one of the listed databases viz, MSSQL/Oracle/PosgreSQL/Cloud based Relational Database/NoSQL

• Understanding of machine learning algorithms used for prediction, classification, and text data analytics in Python.
