About the Role

As a Data Analyst for Lending Ops, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client service ambitions by analysing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and transforming data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, and generating reports that contribute to informed data driven decision-making and client satisfaction

What will your day look like?

• Collaborate with the various teams within Lending teams  to understand data requirements and objectives for each project or client engagement.
• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Analyse large datasets using advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualise and communicate insights effectively.
• Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client service performance and present findings to management.
• Work closely with the IT and data engineering teams to optimise data collection processes and enhance data quality.
• Perform data cleansing and transformation to prepare datasets for analysis and reporting.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific business questions and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Continuously monitor data integrity and troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in the development and implementation of data-related tools and systems to improve the efficiency of data analysis and reporting.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis and client service.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Experience in data analytics with minimum 6 years relevant experience as Data Analyst.

• Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a client service or customer-oriented environment.

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Sales Force, Excel, Qlik sense, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.

• Solid understanding of data modelling, data cleansing, and data transformation techniques.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data integration processes.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Problem-solving mindset, always seeking innovative ways to improve data processes and analysis.

• Strong written, visual and verbal communication of analysis insights and recommendations to a non-technical audience
