About the Role


The Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in enabling successful delivery of banking initiatives by bridging the gap between business needs and solutions. The BA works closely with stakeholders to elicit requirements, define scope, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives, regulatory obligations, and customer outcomes. This role operates at the intersection of desirability, feasibility, and viability - translating customer insights and strategic intent into customer journey map, service blueprints, product concepts, and roadmaps.

What will your day look like?


As a Business Analyst, you are accountable for: 

  •  Design Strategy & Visioning:
    − Define experience-led strategies aligned to business goals and customer needs
    − Shape future-state journeys and service models across banking domains
  •  Research & Insight Development:
    − Lead qualitative and quantitative research to uncover customer behaviours, pain points, and opportunities
    − Translate insights into actionable design principles and opportunity areas
  • Co-Design & Facilitation:
    − Facilitate cross-functional workshops with stakeholders from product, risk, tech, and operations
    − Use storytelling and visualisation to align teams around shared vision
  • Prototyping & Validation:
    − Develop low to high fidelity prototypes to test desirability and usability
    − Validate concepts with customers, bankers, and business leads
  • Strategic Influence:
    − Partner with business architects, product owners, and transformation leads to embed design into strategic planning
    − Influence investment decisions through compelling design narratives and artefacts

    − Service blueprints
    − Experience maps
    − Future-state journey maps
    − Concept cards and opportunity canvases
    − Design hypotheses and test plans
  • Workshop facilitation and co-creation
  • Design research planning and synthesis
  • Visual storytelling and stakeholder alignment
  • Agile and lean UX practices
  • Tools: Figma, Mural, Miro, Adobe XD, Dovetail, Optimal Workshop, Signavio
