About the Role
This role sits within the Broker Partnerships Portfolio team in Commercial Broker & Origination, dedicated to driving higher engagement from referrers and inactive brokers, primarily through phone and digital channels. The role also focuses on educating brokers on ANZ’s products, policies, and processes, and supporting the delivery of statewide broker events and webinars.

What will your day look like?
This role is accountable for:
- Delivering commercial settlements from accredited brokers and referrers
- Ongoing management of a portfolio of referrers and inactive brokers
- Lifting broker satisfaction and internal satisfaction from key internal stakeholders (ie. Bankers & sales leaders)
- Maintaining calling rates on a portfolio of referrers and inactive brokers
- Improving % of referrals and volume of sales from a portfolio of referrers and inactive brokers
- Well Managed in terms of Accreditation, Commission and offboarding processes
- Instilling a customer centric approach to business
- Drive best practices and a consistent operating rhythm across the team
- Educating & upskilling brokers on ANZ’s policies and processes
- Support organising and preparing content for statewide broker events and webinars
- Engage with senior BMs to continually upskill knowledge about increasing broker engagement
- Support broker /referrer applications through digital channels.
What will you bring?
The knowledge, skills and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
- Business Development: The activity of partnering with individuals and/or organisations to pursue strategic initiatives, relationships and/or opportunities to drive commercial value.
- Relationship Management: Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial lending and the Commercial broker industry; ability to workshop with bankers across commercial and asset finance transactions.
- Customer Solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options, that meet those needs.
- Credit assessment and management: Assessing, advising and monitoring a customer's credit worthiness, credit risk and suitable credit structuring options based on internal credit policies, guidelines, scoring models and/or applying judgement based on prior experience and knowledge.
- Influencing: The ability to gain the commitment of others through a range of techniques.
- Stakeholder management: The ability to identify, understand and anticipate the needs of those who can affect or be affected by your work to gain commitment.
- Planning and Prioritisation: Planning and prioritising what needs to be done (including people, process and technology implications) to deliver upon customer/user needs and strategic priorities. This includes identifying, planning for, tracking and resolving dependencies.
- Non-Financial Risk: Have a clear understanding of risk requirements including and not limited to non-financial risk obligations, conduct risk and well managed sales business, broker onboarding and managing off boarding brokers as per ANZ and industry standards.
