Mō te tūranga – About the role
This role leads the delivery of data‑driven personalisation to improve how we engage with customers across their journeys. You’ll guide a team of analysts to build out new data capability in a future focused Martech stack. Working with teams across Marketing, Digital, Technology and Product, you’ll help build and optimise personalisation capabilities at scale.
Role Type: Permanent Full-time
Role Location: Auckland/Wellington
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs
Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? – What will your day look like?
As a Senior Personalisation data Manager, you will:
- Lead and support a team of analysts to deliver insights and personalised customer experiences
- Build capability across analytics, experimentation and journey design, helping the team grow and solve complex problems
- Guide the development of segmentation, models and targeting approaches that make our customer interactions smarter and more relevant
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Data, Technology and Martech teams to design, enhance and deliver personalised journeys
- Keep an eye on key risks and make sure our work meets quality, compliance and governance expectations
Ōu Pūkenga – What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Strong experience leading and developing analytics teams
- A solid understanding of personalisation, customer journeys and MarTech tools
- Advanced skills in analytics, including segmentation, modelling and experimentation
- Confidence working in data‑rich, technical environments
- Great communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience partnering across Marketing, Digital, Technology, Product or Data teams
- High data literacy and a track record of using insights to drive outcomes
- Experience working in agile or fast‑paced environments
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Data, Technology or similar
- Bonus skills: experience with cloud platforms, customer analytics tools, AI in marketing, or financial services
