About the Role
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:
- Provide analytics and insights on risk strategy across the credit life cycle for Mortgages
- Ensure robust quality measurement, monitoring and reporting is in place to support the business in understanding the segmented dynamics of our Retail and Business Banking portfolios
- Work with Risk Managers and other risk team members to develop Risk strategies though the use of advanced data insights and analytics
- Develop and document customer segmentation and customer level risk strategies and processes across the credit life cycle
- Be mentored by your Mortgages Credit Risk Head and wider team
Role Location: Auckland or Wellington CBD
Role Type: Permanent full-time
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience in banking or finance
- Understanding of credit life cycle and the key drivers of profitability within retail and business products
- Knowledge and experience with SAS or similar data tool is a requirement
- Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong capabilities to articulate complex analytical information
- A degree in a numerical discipline (i.e. Mathematics or Statistics) is a requirement
- Intermediate knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
