As a Senior Manager NFR Compliance and Policy Management in NFR Enterprise, you’ll play a key role in standardising the delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of compliance and policy management in ANZ Aotearoa. This includes advising and supporting Country Risk Theme Officers (CRTOs) in their management of regulatory changes, obligations, control objectives, and policy settings.

As a Senior Manager NFR Compliance and Policy Management, you will:

  • Be accountable for end-to-end development and implementation of comprehensive horizon scanning processes to support the proactive identification of emerging trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee the Non-Financial Risk governance framework for managing change.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders (local and overseas) to drive proactive, effective and efficient approach to Non-Financial Risk Management
  • Contribute to and foster collaborative relationship to enable business and non-financial risk objectives to be achieved
  • Contribute to the provision of secure, compliant, efficient, cost-effective and value-adding non-financial risk services

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

 

  • Demonstrated experience providing expert advice, guidance, and independent assessment of governance, risk management, and control processes in a financial services context.
  • Risk experience within the business would be advantageous. 
  • Diverse banking experience demonstrating a sound knowledge and understanding of how ANZ operates 
  • Able to use initiative - be proactive by taking action and be relentless and resilient in addressing issues. 
  • Able to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships, ability to liaise with and influence internal stakeholders. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner.
