In a dynamic environment like ANZ, managing contractual commitments is becoming more complex. We are facing increased demands to deliver services and goods more efficiently, while maintaining a number of ANZ compliance requirements e.g. regulatory/ legal obligation/ ANZ policies and standards.
The Operational Contract Manager ensures that Vendors and ANZ meet their performance obligations and helps ANZ minimise commercial and operational risk.

Role Type: 8-Month Fixed Term Contract
Role Location: Auckland or Wellington
Work Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours
Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like?
This role is accountable for:
- Monitoring Vendor Performance obligations by monitoring and tracking vendor performance.
- Lead Monthly meetings in order to track how well the Vendor has been carrying out their performance obligations
- Confirm (from the ANZ operational team) that deliverables or services have been met before payment is made.
- Understand the Contract pricing schedules and associated Contract terms;
- Ensure that discounts and credits are received and where applicable ensure that service credits for poor performance are captured;
- Ensure the Supplier is paid as per Contract and;
- Measure and track contracted commercials for material contracts
- Ensure all benefits (both subjective and delivered value) are tracked, and appropriately communicated.
- Ensure Governance forums and Account connect meetings are run in line with agreed schedule and achieve desired strategic results.
- Maintain records of all contract governance meetings and agreed action points, as well as retaining all supporting reports used to validate contract compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations such as CPS230
- Promote continuous improvement in the Operational Contract Management practices for NZ and Group Technology Domain
- Lead the continuous enhancement of the OCM skills across the Technology NZ Domain

- Strong knowledge and technology concepts and usage in a modern business environment (including Cloud based technologies).
- Establish relationships with a range of stakeholders to support delivery of business outcomes.

- Business management skills
- The ability to use your initiative
- Experience managing Cloud contracts (including AWS, GCP, and SaaS arrangements)
- Experience managing complex licensing contracts (IBM, Microsoft, Oracle)
