Mō te tūranga - About the role
As the NFR Risk Reporting & Governance Manager in our Non-Financial Risk team, you will sit in ANZ’s second-line risk function and will be at the heart of driving strategic insights and robust governance reporting. Partnering closely with the Non-Financial Risk Enterprise Lead and ANZ Group, you’ll deliver high-impact planning, analytics, and reporting solutions that enhance the consistency and effectiveness of Non-Financial Risk reporting across all three lines of defence. You will work collaboratively to drive standardisation of systems and data tools and continuous improvement in critical divisional reporting.

As the NFR Risk Reporting & Governance Manager, you will:
- Lead the development of effective, consistent, and automated Non-Financial Risk (NFR) reporting and analytics, driving continuous improvement across processes and outcomes
- Design and deliver standardised, insightful NFR management information to meet the needs of ANZ NZ’s risk and governance forums, including support with report writing and presentation
- Contribute to Group-wide best practices in NFR analytics and reporting, while enhancing NZ’s use of data visualisation tools, seeking opportunities to innovate and demonstrate best practice
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to promote a proactive, coordinated approach to NFR reporting
- Partner with stakeholders on analytical initiatives to extract meaningful insights from NFR data, enhance data visualisation capabilities, and identify emerging themes and trends
- Support the development of a strong NFR and compliance culture across the ANZ business, championing awareness and engagement at all levels
Ōu Pūkenga? - What will you bring?
- Proven experience in a Non-Financial Risk environment, with a solid understanding of risk frameworks, governance, and reporting practices
- Strong data acumen, including proficiency with data tools and visualisation platforms and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
- A sound understanding of risk systems and data infrastructure, with the confidence to interpret and present information to a range of audiences
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to craft compelling narratives and influence through storytelling
- Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, with a knack for building trusted relationships and navigating change through influence and negotiation
- A flexible, forward-thinking mindset, able to adapt in a dynamic environment, juggle competing priorities, and apply a professional, risk-based approach to decision-making
